We will be selling another lot of Nigusse Gemeda's Morke, a very popular Ethiopian, which has a nice balance and is highly recommended for everyday enjoyment. We do not have a large number of these Ethiopian wines, but we hope you will enjoy them.
Plantation Information
The owner, Nigusse Gemeda, won Ethiopia's first Cup of Excellence in 2020. He used to be one of the small farmers who transported his own cherries to markets such as washing stations. With his earnings, he would then buy a donkey and use it to transport the cherries.
Now, he owns four washing stations and KARAMO COFFEE coffee beans are exported all over the world.
He is also one of the valuable producers who took advantage of the Cup of Excellence to open the gate to the international market. Most of the coffees ranked in the Cup of Excellence were from the Sidama region, but this is one of the most highly regarded coffees in the world.
Morke Natural is a fruity coffee with a silky mouthfeel and a rich berry aroma and fruity flavor.
